DAP Hall of Fame

Jay Carnicom, co-founder of Dads Against Predators, is a prominent figure in the predator-catching movement. Since launching DAP in 2020 alongside Joshua "Shua" Mundy, Jay has become known for his bravery, loyalty, and deep connection to survivors.
The Beginning of DAP
Friends since high school, Jay and Shua believed they had a mission to make a difference. Their lifelong friendship eventually grew into the creation of one of the most well-known predator-catching organizations in the country.
A U.S. Army veteran with four years of service, including three years in South Korea and one year in Texas, Jay's discipline, toughness, and sense of duty became the foundation of his work with Dads Against Predators.
A Voice for Survivors
While Shua became the public face of DAP, Jay brought a different energy to the mission: fearless when necessary and deeply committed to victims, survivors, and those who had been hurt.
For Jay, the work was never just about exposing predators. It was about giving people strength, closure, and a voice.
A defining moment in Jay's life came when he confronted his own abuser, inspiring others to come forward and share their own stories. From that point forward, his work expanded beyond online predator investigations, helping survivors confront their abusers and supporting them through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Courage Through Adversity
Jay Carnicom has faced numerous challenges throughout his journey, including legal battles, public criticism, and life-threatening situations, yet he has remained steadfast in his mission.
In one notable incident in North Carolina, Jay was shot in the leg during a confrontation at a Target after a suspect drew a firearm. His actions that day helped save lives and demonstrated the courage that has become synonymous with his name.
Over the years, Jay evolved from co-founder into one of the movement's most recognizable figures, developing his own approach, methods, and following. His transformation into a distinct leader within the predator-catching community became an important part of his legacy.
A Father First
Beyond his work with DAP, Jay is a devoted father of five.
Despite the demands of his mission, he consistently makes time for his children, whether attending games, traveling together, or simply being present. His role as a father remains one of the most important parts of his identity.
A Lasting Legacy
Jay Carnicom's legacy extends far beyond catches, videos, and confrontations. It is built on loyalty, survival, courage, and his willingness to stand beside those who feel alone.
He has become a respected advocate for survivors, a mentor to fellow predator catchers, and one of the cornerstones of Dads Against Predators.
For many, Jay is more than a predator catcher.
He is a veteran, a father, a survivor, a protector, and the heart and soul of Dads Against Predators.

Jay is a straight stud, in the most respectful way. Gives the scum a chace to be honest, but swing, touch or even condiser runnning from him, It's over on all three fronts.
