Robert "Boopac" Lee was a respected figure in the predator-catching community, known for his fearless approach and unwavering dedication to protecting children. His reputation extended far beyond Pontiac, Michigan, earning him the nickname "Batman of Pontiac."

A Mission to Protect Children

Boopac's journey into predator catching began as a supporter, but he quickly became one of the movement's most effective and influential figures. Driven by a desire to make a difference, he dedicated himself to exposing and confronting more than 100 predators in his hometown, an unmatched accomplishment.

His unique approach set him apart. While many struggled to apprehend suspects, especially getting them out of their vehicles, Boopac thought differently. His creativity, confidence, and instincts allowed him to find innovative ways to make investigations successful, earning him a reputation as an exceptional predator catcher.

A Protector On and Off the Clock

Boopac's commitment to protecting children extended far beyond scheduled investigations.

While working at Amazon, he exposed a predator. Later, while employed at Topgolf, he confronted another. Despite the running joke that Boopac "never had a day off," he remained constantly vigilant, always ready to act when a child was at risk. His employers respected his mission, sometimes even allowing him to leave work to help protect a child.

A Mentor to the Movement

Boopac never cared about competition or recognition. He genuinely wanted predator catchers to succeed, regardless of their affiliations.

He followed investigations from across the country, watched countless videos, and regularly reached out to both experienced and new catchers with encouragement, advice, and support. Many received unexpected messages from Boopac simply because he believed that anyone willing to stand up for children deserved encouragement.

His leadership, humor, authenticity, and generosity made him a mentor and friend to many throughout the predator-catching community. He inspired others, strengthened relationships, and helped build a movement rooted in protecting children.

A Lasting Legacy

Boopac's work led to numerous investigations and arrests, including cases involving trusted individuals. His willingness to step forward, even when others wouldn't, helped expose criminal behavior and bring law enforcement into critical investigations.

Beyond the catches themselves, Boopac was known for his loyalty, generosity, and heart. He cared deeply about people and never lost sight of his mission to protect children, a responsibility he carried every single day.

The loss of Robert "Boopac" Lee left a void in the hearts of many. Those who knew him, worked alongside him, or learned from him continue to miss his leadership, energy, and encouragement.

His legacy is measured not only by the predators he exposed, but by the people he inspired. The community he helped build, the catchers he encouraged, and the children he worked to protect ensure that his impact will continue for years to come.

Boopac was more than a predator catcher.

He was a father, a friend, a leader, and forever a legend.
